Trotman Publishing has announced BookSource as its new distribution partner. The careers education publisher will join Glasgow-based BookSource in June.
The move follows the decision by Grantham Book Services (GBS) to stop operations for third-party clients by the end of 2025. Trotman Publishing follows ex-GBS clients Bradt Guides and Heartwood Publishing to BookSource.

Trotman Managing Director Sarah Campbell said: ‘I’m delighted to announce that Trotman has selected BookSource as its new distributor. When we met with the BookSource team at the end of last year, we were impressed by the operations in Cambuslang and their knowledge and dedication to distribution. I know they will help us reach new audiences while maintaining the quality and standards that our customers expect from Trotman Publishing. I am confident they will provide us with the service to further support our authors, customers, and readers. I would like to wish the team at GBS well and thank them for their assistance over the years.'
Louise Morris, Customer Service Director at BookSource, said ‘We are excited to announce that Trotman has chosen BookSource as their distribution partner. Selecting a new distributor is a significant decision, and I am pleased that we have demonstrated our ongoing commitment to delivering a flexible service that helps independent publishers do business.
We are excited to begin the onboarding process and will work closely with Sarah and her team to ensure minimal disruption to services during this transition.’
All orders up to Friday 30th May should be sent to GBS, and to BookSource starting from 1st June.  Authorised returns relating to orders placed prior to the 30th May 2025 should be sent to GBS by the 15th August 2025 to allow time for processing. No returns will be accepted by GBS after this date. More information can be found here: https://www.booksource.net/trotman
