Kate Gibb

Kate Gibb is the Chief Operating Officer at Canongate Books Ltd. She currently manages the day-to-day operational functions of the business and steers the strategic direction of the company, ensuring daily activities are aligned with its long-term goals. A Chartered Accountant by background she has spent many years working in a variety of organisations, commercial and not for profit, both within the UK and overseas with industry specific knowledge in the financial markets, healthcare, international aid, management consultancy and of course publishing. As well as chairing Publishing Scotland, Kate is also the Chair of Leiths Food of School and Wine and a Director at Canongate as well as the Traverse Theatre and Letters Live Limited.
