Metadata Distribution
Our systems help with the process of providing accurate and up-to-date bibliographic information, including ISBNs, titles, authors, and descriptions. This process enhances searchability and ensures that books are easily discoverable and correctly categorised on global retail platforms.
Storage
We have recently upgraded our forward picking zones. These units are
designed to maximise storage efficiency and facilitate fast order picking, making them ideal for smaller presses. Our storage options offer you the flexibility to pay only for the storage you actually use, along with the
opportunity to support your growth.
Trade order collection
We simplify the ordering process for your customers. Our system is integrated with standard industry services such as Pubeasy, BatchLine, and Teleordering. Additionally, we have established direct EDI relationships with key players in the industry, ensuring accurate and error-free order placements and acknowledgements.
Order fulfilment
Our goal is to dispatch customer orders punctually and accurately. We
use a barcode-picking system (PickPal) to minimise picking errors. Items
are scan-packed into boxes, ensuring two checks to deliver the correct
books to customers.
Direct to Consumer Fulfilment
A solution for all your orders. If your website accepts orders, they can be uploaded directly into our system, and we will ship them directly to the customer from our warehouse
Guidance on Trade Discounts
We can provide guidance on industry-standard discounts; however, as the
publisher, you are in control to determining which discounts to implement.
Invoicing and Cash Collection
We will invoice your customers for you and manage all credit terms and
collect your cash.
Reporting
Access to our InfoSource reporting tool provides valuable insights that enable you to make data-driven decisions. The intuitive dashboard allows you to view multiple reports across various areas, including title management, stock, orders, backorders, sales, and cash collections. Auto Stock Replenishment
ASR is an optional service offered by BookSource, designed to simplify stock management for titles with smaller print runs. When a title reaches a predetermined minimum threshold, our ASR service automatically places an order with one of our printing partners on your behalf to prevent selected titles from running out of stock.
Gratis and Promotional Copies
Achieving success in book sales relies on promotional efforts, and often the
most effective way to do this is by presenting the book directly to potential buyers or reviewers. We can send copies to where they need to be.

Amazon, and more importantly, avoid penalties and chargebacks.
