Davinder Bedi

Managing Director

Davinder joined Publishing Scotland (or Scottish Publishers Association as it was then) as Finance Manager in 1996. It was his first introduction to publishing. Since then he has spent most of his working life on BookSource, first on secondment when it ran as a small initiative in the corner of the SPA office, and now as Managing Director in charge of a £10m business. During his time at the helm he has developed the BookSource offer to what it is today… a package of services which are vital for publishers to do business in today’s marketplace. Davinder is married with two children and follows the trials and tribulations of Partick Thistle in his spare time.

Jim Chalmers

Business Development Director

Jim took up the position of Business Development Director with BookSource in October 2012. Jim has more than 25 years' experience in publishing and sales and marketing, working in larger corporations such as Thomson and Hachette and since 2002 as Managing Director of Quantum Publishing Solutions Ltd, a position he still holds. Jim’s primary role is to attract new publishing clients into BookSource and to work with the rest of the board to develop the company’s commercial strategies. Jim and his wife Fiona have three children and live in Paisley.

Louise Morris

Customer Service Director

Louise joined BookSource in 2005 as Client Services Manager and after 4 years took on the additional role of overseeing the Customer Service team and then became a company Director. The majority of her experience lies within customer service and operations, where she has developed excellent managerial and communication skills. Her main responsibilities at BookSource are to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with our client publishers and customers to ensure that we consistently meet their needs.  Louise's two young children keep her busy outside of the office.

Collette Wilson

Finance Director

Collette started with BookSource in 2017 after several years as Engineering Accountant at Loganair and has taken on the responsibility of managing the BookSource’s finances as well as looking after publishers debtor balances and cash collection. Collette is a Chartered Accountant having trained at a Glasgow firm of accountants and subsequently working in the aviation industry, she brings experience of best practice processes and controls to build on and improve procedures. In her spare time, Collette enjoys running and looking after her young children.
