Financial Security

The protection of our client publishers is one of our founding principles and our ownership keeps us one step ahead of the rest when it comes to understanding publishers' need for financial security.

All cash receipts are held separately from the company's own funds and are firmly protected by trust status until they are transferred to publishers. Trustees, not company employees, are responsible for money received.

In addition, stock is defined in our distribution agreements as being held on a contract of deposit so debtors clearly belong to individual publishers and not to BookSource. In fact, we only raise financial documents as an invoicing agent and this makes each client’s financial position much more secure.

Experienced Distributor

Since 1995 BookSource has grown from strength to strength, enjoying respect within the publishing industry. In 2006, shortly after the company's tenth birthday, we moved to much larger premises,which enabled us to introduce new work practices and improve the efficiency of our goods in and despatch departments. We are proud to have maintained the loyalty of many publishers over the years, whose businesses have grown alongside our own.
