Executive Directors

Davinder Bedi - Managing Director

Davinder joined Publishing Scotland (or Scottish Publishers Association as it was then) as Finance Manager in 1996. It was his first introduction to publishing. Since then he has spent most of his working life on BookSource, first on secondment when it ran as a small initiative in the corner of the SPA office, and now as Managing Director in charge of a £10m business. During his time at the helm he has developed the BookSource offer to what it is today… a package of services which are vital for publishers to do business in today’s marketplace. Davinder is married with two children and follows the trials and tribulations of Partick Thistle in his spare time.

Jim’s primary role is to attract new publishing clients into BookSource and to work with the rest of the board to develop the company’s commercial strategies.
